| China is rich in the resources of laughingthrushes, with 40 species, 28 in Garrulax and 12 in Trochalopteron. In this paper, we summarized their distribution (Fig. 1), as well as studies on ecology, such as breeding ecology, sexual dimorphism, mating pattern, thermoregulation, adaptive thermogenesis and sing behaviours, in order to provide reference for the further research in the future. |
