We collected a snake specimen of Twin-spotted Rat-snake( Elaphe bimaculata) in a field survey on wild animal biodiversity at Saihanwula Nature Reserve on August 17,2007. Four more specimens were found in August 2008 and October 2009. This snake is a new record in Inner Mongolia.
